Only Bernie Can Show Us What Socialism Really Feels Like – And It Won’t Be Pretty

In some ways I want Bernie to win. Not because I think he would be a good president, but because I think people need to see the ugly face of Socialism and they need to “feel the burn,” so that we never, ever try to touch that hot stove again, if you get my drift.

Most people I know do not understand that, though they might hate the Trumpster, they benefit tremendously from his policies. We all have and will continue to do so as long as President Trump is in office.

When business is booming, people are working. When people are working, tax dollars are generated. When tax dollars are generated government services increase, medical services offered to the poor increase, donations to institutions increase, more people can afford to send their kids to college, more people can afford to buy their first home, people are happier with their lives, drug and alcohol usage drops, people eat better and in general the quality of life for everyone improves.

Welcome to the last 36 months under Donald Trump.

Remember when the Great recession dragged on? It was supposed to turn around by 2012, but it lingered, like a bad toothache. People lost confidence in employment, opioid usage increased in rural areas which soon spread to urban areas. Crime went up, criminal activity increased, business lost confidence in investment (in people via jobs), and in general, the U.S., in just 6 short years became what German is right now, a country where its policies, taxes and regulations all but mortally wounded what was once the ideal economy of Europe, only it was a “progressive America” under President Obama, a plan that, in retrospect, was a complete disaster.

Migration is killing Europe, the same kind of migration Bernie wants to happen to America. “Clean Energy” policies are driving energy costs so high that many Europeans really can’t even afford their medicine, which supposedly is subsidized by the government. This is the socialist model Bernie wants to bring to the U.S.

What every person should be gravely concerned with is the fact that the mainstream media wants what Bernie wants because progressive Leftist elites want everyone to suffer because, well, we deserve it! America should not be successful. America should be equal to the rest if the world, and that is the worldview of Bernie Sanders, a man who has made a living doing very little, except bringing in a paycheck that has made him very wealthy – off the backs of the U.S Taxpayer.

Bernie has never owned or operated a business, never had a job outside of government, and loves socialism, the kind of socialism we have seen choke countries to death. For some reason Bernie feels (as do many of his supporters), that real income equality is that everyone is equally serving the government because Bernie will make sure government controls every aspect of our lives. Bernie believes that is the central rule of government: to govern completely and control the production of goods and services in order to achieve “fairness;” exactly what our founding fathers did not want

The government that governs the least governs the best. But in Bernies’ world, this kind of idea is hate speech. Of course the government must control society, says the progressive old man who wants to be our President. “We simply can’t let big business do it,” says the fiery Vermontian, free enterprise is corrupt and the rich must suffer like the rest of us.” But not Bernie, not AOC, not the Hollywood elite who preach to us about sacrifice while they drink champagne and wear funny clothes that cost more than an average person makes in a year.

Bernie is toxic for America.

Trump has already proven Bernie’s worldview and plan for America won’t work, because it never does.

Trump’s plan worked: Less regulation, lower (and reasonable) corporate taxes increased confidence in business, which means more people were hired, which means more people are employed, more money, more production, less government, rinse and repeat.

History will show that the simplest and best government policy is the one where we are most free of government.

Bernie will show us what happens when government takes over every facet of our life, and then we will see what socialism really feels like firsthand. We will really feel the burn, won’t we?

Enjoy the good times while they last. Good night and good luck.

What’s Driving Adam Schiff?

by James R. Watkins

When trying to understand the perseverance of Adam Schiff going after Trump, we must take into account who he serves.

Part of Schiff’s district is West Hollywood and Hollywood. He serves at the pleasure of the mega-elite movie industry producers, directors, stars, all of whom have globs of money and hate Trump with religious fervor, which comes in especially handy when you are running for re-election every two years and want to continue running un-opposed.

Schiff represents the far-Left, the Rob Reiners, the Michael Moores, the Hollywood moguls who hate Trump with drool dripping from their teeth and yet, have also profited enormously from him.

But there is also a darker side to Schiff I am afraid I must reveal.

Many years ago I chanced to meet a young gay man who was a very close friend of my brother, who is also gay. During the 80’s and 90’s gay in Hollywood was all of the rage. The rules on gay lifestyle were only being barely written and so there was an openness to it. It’s why young gay men flocked to Hollywood, to be used and abused by the Hollywood elite who host young men parties for people like, well, you know, Adam Schiff. People who wield great power and can make or break careers; the Bryan Singers’ of the world, the Ed Bucks (who was recently charged with two felony counts of murder for drugging two young black men in his home and refusing to call emergency when one of his victims overdosed on illicit drugs).

My brothers friend, and his name was Brad (Brad committed suicide in Seattle in 2009), mentioned that Schiff was a regular at these discreet young men’s parties hosted by the many producers who are behind some of the biggest movies in history.  It was common to see certain people and Schiff, according to Brad, liked to have a driver take him to cruise along Sunset late at night for young gay men to hire for sex.

So not only does the money that backs Schiff belong to these Hollywood moguls, but their secrets are also in the possession of these self-serving zillionaires who delight at having their own personal congressmen to manipulate like a marionette doll.

You can see the fear in his eyes, it’s not anger. It’s desperation. Many Hollywood insiders tell me that Schiff knows if he doesn’t deliver the goods on bringing Trump down, he can kiss his district goodbye in 2022, and if Trump does manage to survive the constant onslaught of democratic fury, it will be Schiff’s credibility on the line both in Washington and at home, depending on Trumps’ re-election outcome.

Forget not that Schiff was LA’s chief prosecutor long before we knew him as Congressmen, and it was during the 80’s and 90’s that LA became the hub for cocaine, pornography and a booming movie industry where hookers and #metoo chicanery was an accepted part of the culture, not to be despised or judged. And Schiff was right there in the middle of all of it.

Schiff may not know where all of the bodies are buried, but he knows who buried most of them. And they have his number as well. No one is innocent in LA, including Schiff.

If there is someone who deserves to be investigated, it should be him.

Truth Is Killing The Left

Commentary | James R. Watkins, Editor at Large

Most Americans are not racist. Most Americans know this fact and they also recognize the following truths:

1) Slavery was and is bad

2) Blacks paid a heavy price

3) There are still racists but thankfully, most people are NOT racists because they know racism is wrong. It goes against God and against human decency.

What the press and the Democratic party have done is to consolidate all of their hatred towards Donald Trump, to a degree never seen before in this country, and are now attempting to project that concentrated hatred of Trump outward to include all who support him. In other words, the Trump-haters think they can convince people that if you vote for Trump you, too, are a racist, coupled with another goal, which is to convince Democrats that if they know someone who supports Trump, it is their moral duty to label such supporters as ‘white nationalists,’ which is now equated with ‘white supremacy.’

But none of this will work because most people can see through the charade.  Human beings have a great ability to discern truth as well as deception. Which is why once the Democrats and the endless parade of Trump-haters in establishment media realize they have become the very intolerant person they despise, once movies like The Hunt expose their dark intentions, there will be a huge awakening as more of us come to recognize Leftisms’ ugly face, exposed for all the world to see.

Everyone with a brain and a sense of truth understands that Trump didn’t cause the recent mass shootings. Most are well aware Trump has done more for minorities in two years than the Democrats have done for them in twenty. Everyone knows that when Trump called out Elijah Cummings he did so because no one else had the courage to ask Elijah why Baltimore is in such ruins when the President’s administration has given $18-billion to the city of Baltimore in 2018.

Where did the money go? And you know what happened when Trump started asking??

People became woke to what the president was saying, Elijah’s media buddies and fellow Democrats had to deflect with charges of racism towards the President. Cummings was being held accountable, but because he is an African-American, he assumed he could hide behind charges of racism rather than be called upon to explain his poor leadership for his constituents.

But then the script was changed. A new drama emerged. People could see what the media was trying to do, what the Left does. Deflect. By the third day, the cameras shifted away from the Trump-Cummings skirmish (‘thank God,’ said the Dems) to mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton. And not skipping a beat, the blame for these shootings were laid upon Trump’s feat, yet again. It was his fault for stoking flames of racial hatred, a charge he has carried since they day he came down that escalator in Trump Towers tellings us Mexico sends us their worst.

Watching the presidential candidates exploit the shootings for political gain was quite embarrassing. It was as plain as rice is white, and I am sure I am not alone in my assessment.

People died, and yet…

Beto, Kamala, Pete, all of them, prostrating themselves before the altar of political exploitation, to charge such heinous events as being the result of Trumps’ racist rhetoric, the same rhetoric now coming out of their mouths? Exposing their empty souls and their hypocrisy, as if we were so stupid to believe these people could ever lead the world’s greatest nation with such vacuous character traits on display, using dead bodies to destroy their political opponent in the name of feigned compassion.

Shame on all of them.

People continue to die every week in cities like Chicago and Baltimore, and yet this weekend, “America grieved.”

Why aren’t we grieving every weekend when innocents are shot? Because the media can’t blame Trump for those deaths, that’s why. The lack of lawlessness in the streets is brought on by gangs (Trump is trying to fight) and poor democratic leadership in many of these inner cities.

Meanwhile, the media picks and choose which murders to cover, based on the ties it might have to the Orange Bad Man.

And we all see it.

2020 is going to be a landslide if Trump can maintain the economy (which I believe he will), but it won’t be because we all love Trumps’ not-so-wonderful demeanor, brash as it is. It will be because Trump has done what he promised. The country is doing better because he was spot on with limiting regulation, cleaning up the “swamp” by reducing waste, and having the tenacity to stop wasting taxpayer dollars on feel-good programs that benefit only lobbyists and elites.

Trump will win because Americans are cognizant of the fact that for the first time in a long time, we have someone who holds government accountable.Trump will also have won because the country has grown sick and tired of the flagrant establishment media that has sold their souls – and their minds – to a failed ideology that seeks to make everyone a victim.

Trump’s reelection will be a vindication, a referendum against Leftism, even a condemnation of the Left’s attempt to take over this great country and turn it into a surveillance-state of political correctness.

For every lie they spew about the America they hate, Americans remember.

You can already see the pushback. Cable news is down (by as much as 60%); the Mueller investigation was a sham, and there was no accountability by the Press or by leadership in Congress when President Trump was not charged for conspiracy to collude with Russia. Instead, they kept the impeachment movement going because, well, they don’t like the guy.

Americans are a forgiving people, but you have to ask for redemption, or lose your reputation and credibility. The media has lost its reputation, it has squandered its credibility as an important part of the American system of politics, it has become a joke, trivial, untrustworthy and jaded by ideology an of hate. Ironic since the Left complains most loudly about hate even while they foist all of it upon one man who was duly elected as president.

Meanwhile, the economy roars on. Consumer confidence reigns, people’s wages are rising. Americans are proud.

Most of us anyway.

Even the sham of climate change is starting to be exposed.

The Left is losing its grip on trying to globalize our country through fear-based, socialist climate-change policies that undermine a free and open society. Some people are starting to realize that Climate Change is normal, natural and having nothing to do with human beings (except for our trash, of course).

Now referred to in media as a Climate Crisis, the fraudsters are embarrassed by new data revealing startling new information which proves carbon dioxide is not causing global warming. Just this week, as if to rebut the new findings by NOAA scientist Max Fleming and others, members of the IPCC tried again to claim that “excessive carbon dioxide will create deserts,” if we don’t curb our usage of fossil fuels.

Carbon dioxide, we all know from 5th grade biology, feeds plants, not starves them. We also now know, according to NOAA, that man only produces 3% of all carbon dioxide found in the atmosphere. This suggests that even if we stopped producing carbon dioxide altogether, the earth would only have 3% less carbon dioxide in its atmosphere, a literal drop in the bucket, showing that this has been about fear all along.

We can all now see what is going on with the now incestuous relationship between the extreme political Left and the Establishment Media. We see the emperor has no clothes. We see that traditional family values are under attack by the Left, who now trying to convince us that there is no such thing as gender, that income inequality is because of patriarchal capitalism, that caucasians are inherently racist and oppressive as well as the source of all of the worlds social ills. But we aren’t buying it.

We see the Left’s agenda and its attempt to undermine the principles of this country by attempt to marginalize people of faith, by using media to portray people who are proud of the United States as bigots; that things like liberty, freedom, the right to self-determination are merely patriarchal ideas that oppress people of color, when nothing could be further than the truth!

Only now Black Americans, Asian and even Mexican Americans are realizing that the Left wants to take every dream they ever had away, replacing it instead with an ideology that declares the State can pick and choose losers and winners, that the rich need to pay up; that we are all equally victims, and we need to be protected by authoritarian policies based on output and social worth to the State – not to the individual who simply wants to be left alone.

I could go on because I am moved, not by my hatred of the Left, but by my belief in the human spirit and its ability to see through the lies of the Left, whose days are numbered because truth reigns supreme.

We can thank our creator for giving us the ability to see truth.

It will be fun to watch the Left drown in their hatred come November of 2020.

Why Trump Losing Is a Win (for Trump)

No one ever has a great second term. Historically, a second presidential term almost always ends with sagging poll numbers, a down economy, or worse, a feckless and lame-duck White House that suffers from “short timers disease.”

Oh, sure, you could go back to the first few presidents (Washington, Jefferson, Madison), who all enjoyed 2nd terms, but that was then, when time was much slower and it took weeks (not hours) for people travel to Washington. When it took weeks, not hours, to tabulate votes.

Mostly, and for good reason, the position of president should only be four years, and for the same reason that members of Congress should only serve one, or two terms.

Term limits are a good thing for American politics, they ensure new ideas and eliminate career politicians who generate lobbyist power the longer they remain.

Trump not winning a second term means he can brag forever about having a great first term. It means not having to say you are sorry for a horrible second term when you own a bad economy, and you have started – or not ended – any war that is most certainly going to arise due the circumstances of the world theatre.

“Quit while you are ahead,” should be the motto for any president who entertains the idea a second term. “Always leave your audience wanting more,” is an even better phrase.

History is kinder to you when you have only a one term presidency, Ronald Reagan, and possibly Franklin D. Roosevelt, are exceptions to the rule. Even Reagan, for the last two years (after his assassination attempt) was not quite as robust or confident in his remaining years. I often look at Bush 41 as Reagans third term, a continuation of policies that lost their savor, hence Bush 41 lasted four years, and history has rewarded him kindly because he had less opportunity to screw things up. Roosevelt had four terms, and historians argue even still if his “New Deal” was good, or bad for America. But Roosevelt was a great leader during World War Two, and history will be kind to him, even if some argue he waited too soon, or too late to jump into the fight with the Nazis.

I have stated that Trump supporters, and people who feel he made the country leaner, meaner and more robust should enjoy Trumps first term. And I am among those who honestly believes that, despite the incessant attacks on his character, Trump managed to do what so many politicians were not able to do, which is de-tangle the mess that was American politics (the “swamp”). Trump was beholden to no one (other than the voters) and for this, the American economy improved and we (despite what Liberals will say), are more respected abroad because Trump, unlike his predecessor, didn’t placate the world or apologize for America’s greatness as a society. With Obama, it always felt like he was embarrassed to be the president. With Trump, you got the feeling he was really proud, and his tenor and tempo echoed his pride.

But all good things come to an end, and if Trump loses his re-election bid, he will will not experience the atypical 2nd term where things get steadily worse, not because of his policies, but because of the law of diminishing returns, something of which no one is immune.

I just hope the person who wins the 2020 race is able to retain some of the achievements Trump has rightfully accomplished, for all of our sakes (deregulation, strong military, restrictive immigration policies, and especially lower taxes). Sadly, I know in my gut this will not be true, and America, despite Trumps best days, will become just like London, an old decrepit man who can longer find his teeth.

So let me at least thank President Trump now for a first term well done. History will be much kinder to you than your contemporaries, of that I am sure.

A Glimpse Into the Future: How The Russian Collusion Scandal Will End

I like to predict things.

I predicted Trump would win the 2016 election long before anyone else. I also predicted the lower House would flip to the Democrats in 2018, that Obama woudl win a second term; I predicted Purdue would ultimately go bankrupt because of Oxycontin, and I predicted that, despite global warming proponents, the early 20’s will actually see a cooling trend, which is underway, according to NOAA.

I predict mostly correctly because 1) I study human nature, 2) I know my earth history better than anyone else I know, and 3) I work with a lot of very smart people and I listen to them.

Now I am going to predict a few things about how the Russia-Trump-Collusion scandal will end.

John Brennan will end up being indicted for conspiracy to commit fraud (among many violations) while serving as the CIA chief. He might serve a year in jail, but will be a very long trial that will probably end by the time Trump leaves office in 2024, so the Democrat who replaces him will probably pardon Brennan anyway.

I also predict James Comey will be stripped of his pension, and will not serve jail time, but will be disgraced as he takes a fall for his former employer, Barack Obama, for not revealing who gave him the authority to investigate a U.S. citizen based on false documentation provided to FISA courts.

That’s how it will go down and that is why a) the media is going after Barr, and why b) Trump keeps redirecting back to the collusion-obstruction story, to remind Hillary that she is next.

This latest so-called gaffe of President Trump admitting he would listen to foreign agents if they had “dirt” on a political opponent was a stroke of brilliance. Why? Because if you call out Trump, he simply points at Hillary and it’s checkmate. If we condemn Trump how then can the same people not condemn Hillary, who actually paid for dirt on a political opponent from a foreign agent?!

Meanwhile, Barr and his team continue to sift through the evidence Mueller ignored or downplayed. Robert Mueller assumed Trump had something to hide and was not able to find the evidence. Barr will expose the faulty investigation, which we now know was really a partisan coup attempt to remove Trump from office. And when the investigation has been concluded, which will ironically occur around the primaries next summer, we will then know that it was Brennan who authorized the unlawful investigation, and we will know Comey was complicit in putting the plan into action.

Kamala Harris, Corey Booker and Joe Biden, who were all very aware it was going on (or found out afterwards but said nothing) will have their presidential bids squashed because they will have been exposed as agents in the coverup via their grilling of the various individuals who were called to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

And look for a key witness by the name of Hillary Rodham Clinton to fall ill just before her testimony is given, adding that much more drama to the affair. I won’t predict she will face jail time, but I do predict she’ll have Nixon-shame for the rest of her long- sad life.

For a Trump supporter it doesn’t get any better than this, but for America as a whole, it is sad that the greatest Republic on the planet must suffer the pangs of weak and deceptive leadership at a time when the world needs – and perhaps even deserves – something better.

Activist Actors and Why They Don’t Matter

Why does Jeff Daniels need to tell me his political opinion and why do others care what actors thinks about politics?

Do we ask politicians to do movie reviews?

It is as if we elevate actors to a level of being social philosophers, elder statesmen who feel compelled to advise the rest of us poor idiots what to think and how we should view the world (through their experienced eyes, I suppose).

Actors are no wiser, no smarter and no more politically keen than say, mail delivery people, or people who cut hair, or people who drive a truck. The only advantage many of these “acclaimed” actors have is that they make a tremendous amount of money, and are treated like royalty because we have seen their faces on the big screen. It is a natural inclination to want to worship stars, but when we start believing that they are somehow smarter, or more insightful than the rest of us, that’s the fallacy.

I don’t need an actor to tell me how to think. In fact, when an actor does feel the need to speak out, I tend to like them a lot less. My list of actors I now hate is getting longer. Pretty soon, I won’t be able to watch any of my favorite DeNiro movies, or Jeff Daniels movies, etc, etc., because I am no longer able to separate the actor from the activist. If I wanted to know their opinion, I would, of course, write to them and ask.

Rob Reiner, for example, an actor I never really liked anyway, starts ranting about how much he hates Trump. I say, who cares, Meathead? You are entitled to your opinion, but what does that have to do with your performance as an actor, or your value as a producer? Do you really think anyone gives a damn about your vitriol?

Or what about when Cher declares Trump will be locking up homosexuals if he is re-elected? From where does she find the time to believe in such lies that she feels compelled to share her fears, which are only fears and are not rooted in any sensible reality. Trump has never said a negative word about LGBTQ, in fact, he has been very supportive of world wide efforts to decriminalize homosexuality by imposing sanctions against countries who torture and imprison gay men and women around the world. Our U.S. Ambassador to Germany is openly gay, the first openly gay U.S. Ambassador in history – even after Obama had eight years – and failed to appoint any openly gay Ambassador.

The one issue Trump has had is the issue of people enlisting in the military and then wanting to have the U.S. Military pay for sex-change therapy and subsequent operations and treatment. Because of this one issue, apparently played up by the media to highlight Trumps’ so-called anti-LGBTQ stance, people have been erroneously led to believe Trump is anti-gay. I suppose because Cher believes it, we should all just believe her – and others – who are simply looking to attach whatever evils they can to the man with orange hair.

This is a free country, people have a right to their opinions. and I personally would like to know, for example, what Kamala Harris thinks about the new Elton John movie, because well, she is a politician and I guess I need her expert opinion so as to help me formulate my own.

Are you getting my point?
